About NextFace
NextFace is a free, no-sign-up way to meet random people by video or text — a small, independent project built to keep that experience alive, and to keep it safe.
What NextFace is
NextFace pairs you with a random stranger for a one-on-one chat. You can talk face-to-face with random video chat or just type, and skip to someone new whenever you like. There's no account, no email, and nothing to download — you open the site and go. It was built after Omegle shut down in 2023, when a lot of people lost a simple way to talk to strangers online and went looking for something that kept the good parts without the chaos.
To be clear about what we are: NextFace is a small, independent project, not a big company. There's no large team or office behind it — just an effort to make one clean, well-run place to meet people randomly.
What it stands for
Moderation and safety aren't an afterthought here — they were the reason to build it at all. Every video session is checked automatically, and anything showing nudity or abuse is ended within seconds, alongside a report-and-ban system for anything that slips through. NextFace is strictly 18+. And because there are no accounts, the experience stays low-friction and anonymous: you're not handing over your identity to talk to someone for two minutes. We try to be honest about the trade-offs too — see our privacy and terms pages for the details.
How it works, briefly
- Open nextface.app and confirm you're 18 or older.
- Choose video or text chat.
- Hit Start — you're matched with a stranger in seconds, and you can skip to the next person anytime.
NextFace is 18+ and moderated. Be kind, stay safe, and never share personal or financial information with strangers. See our safety tips.
